Saint Petersburg was established in 1703, not 1740, but before 1740, they made this wall out of dirt and rocks. It wasn't until 1740 that brick was used. |

Your dad sent me your blog address for this wonderful trip you have gotten to do. I'm a little jealous. :) I'm so glad you got to do this. The history of Russia is so interesting - although a lot of it is way over my head - but to get to see St. Petersburg is such a wonderful experience for you. I'll keep following you. Four months? Not enough but you may be able to see Russian springtime.
